Tonight, I ate a left-over Subway sandwich on my way down to cooking class along with some Baked Ruffles potato chips (man are those things good!).

No real dinner tonight; we went pretty directly from work to see Wendy’s mother’s show at Mariemont Players. We enjoyed a nice production of HOMETOWN HEROES.

Tonight I went to Scilla after dropping Wendy off at the airport. She’s away this weekend (in Tampa Florida) for an ultrasound training course, so I was on my own for dinner.
I went to Scilla and sat at the sushi bar. I ordered three nigiri: Salmon, Sweet Shrimp, and Uni (Sea Urchin Roe). I was looking for the server to order a bowl of miso soup when she brought one out to me — without my ordering it. The sushi-tsu also gave me a bowl of delicious seaweed salad (the sesame oil & seeds make this irresistable). Still hungry, I ordered more sushi — this time, two nigiri of ebe — shrimp.
As I was wrapping up my meal, the sushi-tsu handed over yet another bowl… This time containing ‘dessert sushi’ of fresh mango rolled in thin slices of peeled cucumber. It was delicious! Still trying to escape, I was held up by the server bringing me two slices of perfectly sweet, chilled watermelon.
It was a tremendous meal!

From a phone call I received today. This student is applying for admission to the College of Pharmacy where I work.
HIM: "How do I get my PCAT scores to you?"
ME: "You can send me a photocopy of your score report."
HIM: "Should I have one sent from the testing agency?"
ME: "Well, you CAN do that, but I just said that you could send me a photocopy."
HIM: "Are you sure that's okay?"
ME: "I wouldn't tell you the wrong thing to do, now, would I?"
I shudder for my future healthcare needs.
