Ahhh! Now this was a meal! On Tuesday, January 14, 2003, Wendy & I attended (with our friends Doug, Doug & Meg) a Holiday Beers and Wild Game Extravaganza at the IRON HORSE INN in Glendale, Ohio.

Last night, the Happy Mouth Supper Club met for our January outing. This time, it was Kristy’s turn to pick, and she selected Encore Cafe’, one of Paul & Pam Sturkey’s restaurants.

Tonight, the HAPPY MOUTH SUPPER CLUB met at our house for our one-year anniversary dinner. We decided to make it an Italian Pot Luck, where everyone brings an item for dinner.

We dined on an Oyster Gratin appetizer, a great green salad, open ravioli with scallops, osso bucco, risotto, polenta with tomatos, olives, and asparagus, and two kinds of cheesecake. LOADS of wine, too!

It was a good time!

The Happy Mouth Supper Club met for our monthly outing on Friday, May 23, 2003. Tonight was Chuck’s month to pick, so he selected THE SKY GALLEY at historic Lunken Airport.

April’s Happy Mouth was selected by Jay, who chose MITCHELL’S FISH MARKET down at Newport on the Levee. We had a private dining room in the back of the restaurant, quite cozy. Oysters, clams, and loads of exceptional seafood dishes were served.
