The Happy Mouth Supper Club met for our monthly outing on Friday, May 23, 2003. Tonight was Chuck’s month to pick, so he selected THE SKY GALLEY at historic Lunken Airport. Dinner and the company was fantastic.
Tonight, Wendy & I took a walk — it’s been a long week for both of us, and was an especially hard day for Wendy as four animals died at her practice today. She understands that death is part of her practice and each takes its toll, but sometimes it’s harder than others. We took a nice walk around the neighborhood, and were greeted by every single neighbor we passed. The area where we live is plenty friendly.
We then walked up to the Chinese Buffet up the street from us for dinner from their steamtables.
Tonight, Wendy made dinner… Shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, onions, cashews, and eggs over rice, with a green salad beside. It was really good! On another note, I've been working with the folks at my office, and I will be starting CULINARY SCHOOL in either the Summer…
Again, keeping with our eating-at-home-more theme, I ate a TV dinner. Don’t remember what it was. It was hot, brown, and there was plenty of it.
Finally feeling better. Whatever I ate has finally moved through my system.
Tonight, Wendy got home late because of an emergency at her hospital, so we just ate simple French Bread Pizzas.
We've been trying not to eat out, and have been doing a pretty good job of it. That's good for our budget, but it makes for boring entries here, I'm afraid.
Tonight, we ate dinner at Donato’s Pizza with our friends Chris & Rebecca (who has been DYING to get mentioned on this site!), though I didn’t eat much, since I was still feeling pukey.
