Tonight, we went to the lovely home of a couple of our friends. They finally came into the 20th Century and got broadband instead of dialup, and we went over to help set it up and configured for them. In return, they fed us. We…
Because Wendy was out most of the evening with an emergency at the animal hospital, I made a simple Minnistrone Soup for dinner. Fast, warming, and easy.
Simple stuff tonight… Dinner was from Domino's Pizza, since Wendy & I have been assaulted by the commercials for their Domino's Dots dessert. We got a large pizza with mushrooms and 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sausage. The pizza was better than either of us remembered…
Just one word about dinner tonight: LEFTOVERS! I don't know why it is, but lasagna is ALWAYS better the second day. And, if I may say so myself, my lasagna was pretty darned good when I made it. It was really good tonight!
From our friends at The Smoking Gun:
Hey, dude, you’re getting a cell! Benjamin Curtis, the 22-year old actor who portrays "Steven," the Dell Guy, in those bothersome computer commercials, was arrested late last night (2/9) on a marijuana possession charge, The Smoking Gun has learned. According to police, Curtis was nabbed after cops spotted him buying a "small bag of marijuana" from a dealer on Manhattan’s Lower East Side (at Ludlow and Rivington for you Gothamites). Curtis is currently being held in Central Booking and is scheduled to be arraigned later today in Manhattan Criminal Court. Curtis, who lives in lower Manhattan, was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. Omar Mendez, the 19-year-old alleged dealer, faces drug sale and possession charges.

Tonight, we entertained our friends Doug D. and Doug & Meg J. They came over to enjoy a double-feature movie night and dinner. Our two movies were LOCK, STOCK, AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS and SNATCH. The way the evening went was like this… Everyone arrived…
