Tonight, neither one of us felt particularly like doing anything for dinner, so we didn’t!
On Wednesday, July 9, 2003, the HAPPY MOUTH SUPPER CLUB dined at Cafe’ Istanbul at Newport on the Levee.
It was Ted’s month to select, and he was joined by Tracy, Holly, Ed, Jay, Meg, Doug, John, Kristy, Chuck, Wendy, and Drew at the restaurant to sample excellent Turkish food. We started with a giant appetizer sampler platter, some calimari, artichoke hearts, and Turkish beers. Dinner was kebabs and excellent dishes prepared with yogurt and nice spices.
For dessert, we braved the elements and went up to Coldstone Creamery for dessert.
