May The Stars Light Your Way
Tonight we were running errands, so we stopped at Jersey Mike’s for subs.
Tonight, we ate Stouffer’s Three Meat French Bread Pizzas for dinner. Nothing special, but quick, hot, and tasty.
> The dinner story was interesting. It sounds like it went well for
> you. I could feel the pit in my own stomach while you were awaiting
> her arrival. Thinking about someone who broke up with me, and hurt
> me very badly, I think I can relate. Kudos to you, I don’t think I
> could have done it. She sounds like she may be regretting some
> things. You should feel good about the fact that you have moved on
> AND UP in your life. Maybe she hasn’t been able to do that in her

Ted‘s birthday celebration continues! Wendy & I joined her brother Ted and their parents for yet another birthday dinner for Ted at Olive Garden.
Tonight, we joined a group of friends at THE BAMBOO CLUB at Newport on the Levee for dinner to celebrate Ted‘s birthday. We dined on a fantastic spicy soup, edamame (which Tracy had never had, and she loved!), and several delicious dishes.
Tonight we intended to eat Tuna Helper because, well, it’s been a while since we’ve had that.
The milk was bad, so it was out to Steak -n- Shake for a cheeseburger, a turkey melt, and some of their awesome fries.
After reading CULINARY ARTISTRY, I understand the food industry, and specifically the mindset of culinary professionals, better than I did before. Especially valuable in this book is the listing of “flavor pals”, which is an excellent quick-reference for matching flavors. It spreads the palette of…
