Because I had class tonight, I picked up a foot-long sandwich from Subway for lunch. Ate half at lunch, ate the other half on my way down to class after work.
Tonight, we joined Jo, Julie, Michelle, Debbi, and Nikki at Romano’s Macaroni Grill for a dinner to celebrate Wendy’s birthday. I tried a chicken dish in a demiglaze with cheese and mushrooms, and Wendy ordered her usual Penne Rustica.
The girls from Wendy’s office brought her some nice gifts and a darned good cake (which we shared with our cool server)!

This afternoon, Wendy & I met our friends Jennifer & Belinda and their daughter Sarah at the barn. Sarah is almost two years old and is crazy about ‘horsies’, and we thought it would be fun for her to ride a horse.
She had a complete blast riding the horses, held protectively by Wendy (who is an accomplished equestrian) as "Winter" (the tamest horse of the bunch) walked lazily around the barn’s ring.
After that, we all went to Applebee’s for dinner. I had their Oriental Chicken Salad and it was quite tasty.
