HOMEARAMA 2006
Today, Wendy & I went to HOMEARAMA 2006 Luxury Edition at Long Cove. All 10 of the homes on display cost more than 1 million dollars and were at least 6000 square feet.
It was ridiculous. Many of the houses were more like hotels and some of the decisions, both architecturally and interior design, were very questionable. Televisions were everywhere, and the children’s rooms were (seemingly) miles away from the parents’ suite. Dining rooms were tiny, which struck me as funny because many of the houses feature gigantic gourmet kitchens (complete with televisions, of course).
It was fun to go, but I didn’t find any inspiring design ideas.
