DINNER 91: Saturday, April 1, 2006
Tonight was the second night of DINNER WITH FRIENDS, the show I directed for Falcon Theater. Before the show, we went to dinner with Jay to a Russian restaurant in Blue Ash called Baltic. It’s a sparse little restaurant, barely anything more than tables and a bar with a television playing Russian DVDs.
Despite the complete lack of ambiance, the restaurant is cozy. Our server was knowledgable about the items on the menu. We started with perogies and salad, then moved into entrees of stuffed portabello mushrooms, chicken kiev, and little dumplings that Jay got. Everything was very good, hearty, and filling. A nice send-off to the second night of the show, which went very well.
