Because Wendy had a beauty appointment this evening, I was on my own for dinner. I went to LuLu’s Noodle Bowl for some spicy cold noodles with chicken, shrimp fried rice, and an eggroll. All of these were consumed while I did my homework for my culinary classes.

Tonight, we attended the memorial service for the father of a friend of ours. It was a moving service, and though we’d never met Mr. Benson, the stories told about him at the service revealed him to be a warm and caring individual. I’m sure he will be missed by family and those others that knew him.

After the service, Ted, Tracy, Meg, Ron, Wendy, and Drew went to the Iron Horse Inn for dinner. Wendy had a wonderful scallop dish that was served with lobster cheese grits. It was excellent. I enjoyed my rack of lamb very much!

Chef Jack sent out a couple nice desserts for Wendy’s birthday, and a good time was had by all!

We had a nice, quiet evening at home tonight — a rare occurance for us. For dinner we baked a frozen pizza and watched ONE HOUR PHOTO. A nice stay-at-home date for us this evening!
