Runs with knives!
This month, it was Doug’s turn to select our destination, and he chose JO AN, a formal Japanese restaurant in Kentucky. A group of us enjoyed the upscale setting and excellent food at the restaurant. Another successful Happy Mouth!
Ed selected our destination this month, choosing Swami’s MAYURA in Clifton. Several members of the group braved the cold to enjoy the warmth and generosity of Swami, who played host to all of us and tantelized us with excellent Indian food.
For our first HAPPY MOUTH of 2004, the newly-engaged Kristy arranged for all of the “Mouthers” to meet at Pompillio’s in Newport, Kentucky. Pompillio’s was known for being the restaurant in the famous ‘toothpick scene’ of the 1988 movie Rain Man.
Chuck, Ron, Tracy, Ted, Meg, Doug, Jay, Holly, Wendy, and Drew joined Kristy at the restaurant for their signature Italian dishes before heading down to Nicholson’s for Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert.
This month, we met at RONDO’S in the west side of town for Happy Mouth. We had a room on the second floor all to ourselves. The food was very nice. They sent up a couple platters (big ones) of complimentary appetizers, which we all…
For this month’s Happy Mouth outing, nine of us went to Prima Vista on top of one of the hills on the west side of downtown. The restaurant features Italian food and a truly spectacular view of downtown Cincinnati. We had a blast!
For April, Jay picked Andy’s Mediterrainian Grille. The entire club — all 12 of us — showed up for a great meal at Andy’s restaurant.
We sat on the enclosed (and noisy) patio and dined on the awesome kabobs and other offerings from Andy’s kitchen. Late in the meal, a belly dancer with a sword (most of the time on her head!) showed up and danced for the patrons.

Happy Mouth met for dinner at The Melting Pot — a fondue restaurant — for our monthly outing. A large group of us occupied two tables and had a great time flinging food, cooking our own meals, and enjoying the company.
