Fried Fish Steak A La Meuniere

Ingredients

1 1/2 pound Fish Steaks Cod Trout Etc
1 1/2 pound Button Mushrooms
1 1/4 tablespoon Butter
to taste Salt & Pepper
Flour As Needed
2 teaspoon Parsley Chopped


 

Instructions
1. Wash the fish steaks and dry using paper towels.

2. Season with salt and pepper, and coat with flour.

3. Pan-fry fish steaks in butter for about 5 minutes on each side, until cooked.

4. In the meantime, cut the mushrooms until finely chopped.

5. Remove the fish steaks from the pan and replace with the chopped mushrooms. Saute for 2 minutes, then add parsley, season with salt and pepper.

6. Arrange fish steaks in serving plates. Serve with sauteed mushrooms and lemon slices.
