Crunchy Coleslaw

We were laughing about this as my husband doesn't like ANY of the ingredients of this dish, but loves the salad. Someone will always bring this to a potluck. I avoided it for about five years before I got the nerve to try it (DRY ramen noodles!?) and now we love it!

Ingredients

1 pound Prepared Coleslaw Broccoli Slaw is even tastier
1 cup Sunflower Seeds Salted -- or try pine nuts!
1 package Ramen Noodles Oriental Flavor
1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Vinegar
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil


 

Instructions
1. Mix slaw and seeds in large serving bowl.

2. Crumble the dry, raw ramen noodles over the slaw mixture.

3. Mix dressing (seasoning packet from ramen, sugar, vinegar and oil) all together and pour over slaw. Mix well and serve immediately.

notes:  Per Andrea Wall, for an improved flavor, roast the Ramen noodles until they start to brown. Also, toast the nuts!
